Privacy Policy
The short version
Zaad has no account, no server of ours, and no analytics. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us, because there is nowhere for it to be sent. Everything the app knows about you is on your phone, and uninstalling it takes all of it with you.
What stays on your device
- Your location. Used to calculate prayer times and the direction of the Qibla, both of which are worked out on the phone itself. Your coordinates are never transmitted anywhere. You can also set a city by hand and never grant location access at all.
- Your reading. Bookmarks, the last ayah you were on, saved hadiths, which pages you have read, and your reading goal.
- Your worship record. Which prayers you have marked, adhkar sessions, and tasbih counts.
- Your settings. Language, theme, calculation method, reciter, reminder times.
- Downloads. Quran page fonts, tafsir and recitation audio are cached in the app's own storage so they work offline.
All of this lives in a database and a settings file inside the app's private storage. No other app can read it, and neither can we.
What leaves your device
Only requests for content, and only when you ask for it:
- Quran page fonts, from the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex, when you open the printed mushaf.
- Tafsir text, when you open a commentary.
- Recitation audio, when you press play.
These are ordinary downloads. Like any web request they carry your IP address to whoever serves the file, which is how the internet works and not something we collect, see or store. We run none of those servers.
What we do not do
- No account, sign-in, or email address.
- No analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDK.
- No tracking, and no sharing of anything with anyone, because there is nothing to share.
- Nothing is sold. Nothing is profiled.
Children
Zaad is suitable for all ages. It collects nothing from anyone, including children.
Notifications and alarms
If you turn on prayer reminders, the app asks Android or iOS to show a notification at a given time. The scheduling happens on your device; no reminder passes through any server.
Your control
- Location can be revoked in system settings at any time; the app falls back to a city you choose.
- Notifications likewise.
- Downloads can be deleted from Settings → Downloads, which shows what each store is using and clears it.
- Everything else goes when you uninstall the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a material change will be noted in the app's release notes.

سياسة الخصوصية
باختصار
لا يوجد في تطبيق زاد حساب، ولا خادم تابع لنا، ولا أي أدوات تتبّع أو تحليلات. لا يُرسَل أي شيء تفعله داخل التطبيق إلينا، لأنه ببساطة لا توجد جهة يُرسَل إليها. كل ما يعرفه التطبيق عنك موجود على هاتفك، وحذف التطبيق يمحوه كله.
ما يبقى على جهازك
- موقعك. يُستخدم لحساب مواقيت الصلاة واتجاه القبلة، وكلاهما يُحسب داخل الهاتف نفسه. لا تُرسَل إحداثياتك إلى أي مكان. ويمكنك أيضًا اختيار مدينتك يدويًا دون منح إذن الموقع إطلاقًا.
- قراءتك. العلامات المحفوظة، وآخر آية توقفت عندها، والأحاديث المحفوظة، والصفحات التي قرأتها، وهدفك في الختم.
- سجل عبادتك. الصلوات التي سجّلتها، وجلسات الأذكار، وعدّاد التسبيح.
- إعداداتك. اللغة والمظهر وطريقة الحساب والقارئ وأوقات التذكير.
- التنزيلات. خطوط صفحات المصحف والتفسير وملفات التلاوة تُحفَظ في مساحة التطبيق الخاصة لتعمل دون اتصال.
كل ذلك محفوظ داخل التخزين الخاص بالتطبيق. لا يستطيع أي تطبيق آخر الاطلاع عليه، ولا نستطيع نحن.
ما يغادر جهازك
طلبات تحميل المحتوى فقط، وعند طلبك أنت:
- خطوط صفحات المصحف من مجمع الملك فهد لطباعة المصحف الشريف، عند فتح المصحف المطبوع.
- نصوص التفسير، عند فتح تفسير آية.
- ملفات التلاوة، عند الضغط على التشغيل.
هذه طلبات تحميل عادية، تحمل عنوان IP الخاص بك إلى الجهة التي تخدم الملف، وهي طبيعة عمل الإنترنت وليست بيانات نجمعها أو نراها أو نحتفظ بها. ولا نملك أيًّا من تلك الخوادم.
ما لا نفعله
- لا حساب ولا تسجيل دخول ولا بريد إلكتروني.
- لا تحليلات ولا تقارير أعطال ولا إعلانات.
- لا تتبّع ولا مشاركة لأي بيانات مع أي جهة، إذ لا توجد بيانات أصلًا.
- لا يُباع شيء، ولا تُبنى ملفات تعريف عن المستخدمين.
الأطفال
التطبيق مناسب لجميع الأعمار، ولا يجمع أي بيانات من أي أحد، بمن فيهم الأطفال.
الإشعارات والمنبّهات
عند تفعيل تذكيرات الصلاة، يطلب التطبيق من نظام أندرويد أو iOS عرض إشعار في وقت محدد. تتم الجدولة على جهازك، ولا يمر أي تذكير عبر أي خادم.
تحكّمك
- الموقع: يمكن سحب الإذن من إعدادات النظام في أي وقت، وسيعود التطبيق إلى المدينة التي تختارها.
- الإشعارات: كذلك.
- التنزيلات: يمكن حذفها من الإعدادات ← التنزيلات، حيث يظهر حجم كل نوع وإمكانية مسحه.
- ما تبقّى: يُحذف بحذف التطبيق.
التغييرات
إذا تغيّرت هذه السياسة تغيّر التاريخ أعلاه، ويُذكر أي تغيير جوهري في ملاحظات الإصدار.
